How is Gainesville Dental Assistant School Different?
The Gainesville Dental Assistant School was founded to provide a high-quality, hands-on education that was both affordable and convenient to students from all walks of life. Our classes are held directly inside of a working dental office and all of our instructors are dental assistants who have years of experience in the very same techniques they teach. In just 9 weeks, you’ll learn all of the skills and techniques needed to succeed in this quickly growing field.
When it comes to the ins and outs of a real-world dental practice, a textbook can only take you so far. That's why Gainesville Dental Assistant School's program was built differently — emphasizing hands-on training in all of the techniques that modern dentists demand. We aim to provide our students with both the experience and confidence they will need to thrive in their new careers. All of our graduates also complete a 40-hour externship in a local dental office, which ensures that they are job-ready upon graduation.
Gainesville Dental Assistant School's commitment to our students goes well beyond the classroom. Our unique, 9-week program allows us to offer comprehensive training at a fraction of the cost of other schools. After students have worked for three months, they may return and take our 1-day radiography program or our 2-day expanded functions program to earn their license. Upon completion, they will receive their certificate of completion and, after filing with the state, earn their license and be a dental radiographer or an expanded functions dental assistant.
Gainesville Dental Assistant School understands that beginning a new career isn’t always an easy jump to make. That’s why we offer flexible payment plans and have dedicated counselors on call to help guide you every step of the way. Once you graduate, our career services department is there to help you land the great career you deserve!
